Description

The Mutoh chip programmer is capable of programming all models of Mutoh from blank chips. The resetter programmer can also program the chip to any colour, model and ink capacity. If you source printer inks from alternative sources other than the OEM, then this device is a must to have in your toolbox.

The resetter is powered and driven by a regular USB port and is commanded by a free dumb terminal program such as Putty or HyperTerminal. Dumb terminal programs are free and easy to install. The resetter itself contains algorithms to program and in some circumstances re-generate the data for on the chip. The user simply chooses the model and capacity in advance and then chooses the specific colour to reset with a single button.

The device is field upgradeable through a bootloader so the newest chips released by the OEM can easily be amended to the resetter’s ability.  It is safe to assume the resetter may outlast the printer itself.
