This chip’s reset is limited as the serial number cannot be changed. As long as the chip is used on a different printer it could be reset indefinitely. For a full reset feature, consider purchasing the SmartChip Technologies Resetter along with a compatible chip where serial numbers can be changed. This device has no limitations and can be reset indefinitely as long as the chip is used in a different printer. See Resetter for additional information. The device uses is a DS2431 chip.
