At the time embedded devices were not plentiful so much of our solutions consist mainly of hard wired components controlled by a programmed digital component supplying only basic control and functionality.
Our first projects were DC motor drives utilizing PWM technology but this eventually paved the way to solving other problems such as pulse counters, optical magnetometers, AC Inverter Drives, and even an employee access control and security system for the company.
Developed projects were customized and installed in factories throughout the country and mainly consisted of equipment, or additions to equipment that was not available to purchase.
SmartChip Technologies remained a custom embedded equipment supplier till about 2000 when SmartChip Technologies developed the worlds first aftermarket printer cartridge chip. From this point on, SmartChip Technologies developed products, manufactured then=m and offered them for sale to customers world wide.
“There are lots of great minds out there who have invented the most interesting and clever solutions in their minds. We, at SmartChip, try to bring that idea to life in an affordable way so the world can benefit”
